Dear members of the Data WG,

I hope you are all well. I have received some emails asking about the steps related to the translation of the questionnaire. Let me therefore clarify that all relevant information is included in the ppt we have already shared with you and was also discussed during the online meeting.

For your convenience, I summarise below the next steps:

1. Each WG member should translate the questionnaire and send it to the MC members of their country no later than 4th of January 2026. If there are many members from each country, we expect different translations.  Please send the email cc’ing me, the Scientific Secretaries, and the Chair of the Action.

2.     The MC member will evaluate the translation (both quality and whether national political context specificities are adequately taken into account; this is particularly important for non-EU member states). At this stage, please act as a national collaborator and adjust questions that are mainly relevant to EU member states, where necessary.

3.     The MC members will send their evaluation to the Scientific Secretaries and the Chair of the Action no later than 10th January 2026.

4.     Please submit the communication plan, taking into account the email sent by Ioannis Andreadis regarding this matter (email 4th of December topic EUPopLink Social Media Accounts)

5.     The translation and all communication activities and plans will serve as the basis for the evaluation by the Core Group.Based on the Core Group’s decision, you will be notified whether you will attend the meeting in Cologne (decision expected around mid-January 2026).

If you are an MC member and there is no other Data WG member in your country, you are responsible for the translation.

Thank you for your collaboration!

Best regards,
